The blocks have the following dimensions as standard:
Width, mm | Length, mm | Thickness, mm |
1000 | 2000 | 20 |
1000 | 2000 | 30 |
1000 | 2000 | 40 |
1000 | 2000 | 50 |
Additionally, the blocks can be modified by coating with aluminum foil or metallized film, which further improves the thermal insulation properties.
These blocks are perfectly attached to the inner walls of the room using special glue or self-tapping screws or profile plasterboard systems. By covering this material with plasterboard, not only excellent insulation of the room will be achieved, but also good sound insulation.
The main purposes in the application of blocks of polyethylene foam:
- for sealing and insulating doors and glass units;
- for insulation of walls of premises;
- when insulating floors designed for various loads;
- for heat insulation and insulation of heating, air conditioning, and ventilation systems;
- as sound insulation in the automotive industry;
- as a packing material (any forms are cut from blocks for packing office equipment and other goods).
Also, foamed blocks have found their application in industry:
- when sewing sports and tourist mats;
- when sewing room shoes - as an insole;
- are used as soft inserts in the manufacture of furniture and exercise equipment.
Polyethylene foam blocks are the optimal material for arranging premises with increased requirements for thermal insulation, sound insulation, vibration insulation and waterproofing.
