Glass fabric
Glass fibre is made of a molten composition in the form of elementary fibres 3 – 100 microns in diameter and at least 20 km long (continuous glass fibre), or 0.1 – 20 microns in diameter and 1-50 cm long (staple glass fibre).
Glass fibre sheet is a non-woven fabric that is obtained by felting glass fibres to achieve the higher density of the fabric. As a result, a durable non-woven fabric of different thickness and density is formed. Glass fibre is often used in the production of roofing materials, since it provides an excellent base with high tensile characteristics.
Usage:
Pigmented glass fibre sheet is used for covering hairline and shrinkage cracks, as well as for levelling various surfaces, such as: plasters, partially filled surfaces, concrete, and dry construction surfaces. It is also suitable for the reinforcement of cracked plaster.
