Pipe insulation fire-resistant HD V2

In 2020, our company set itself the task of developing an innovative product for the Ukrainian market – pipe insulation with a non-flammability class of G-2. This task is very relevant, since conventional pipe insulation made of foamed polyethylene supports combustion. This means that in the event of a fire inside the premises, the ignition of the pipe insulation will contribute to the spread of fire. According to building fire safety standards, it is prohibited to use materials that support combustion in high-rise buildings due to limited access to the fire source when extinguishing a fire. This insulation combines the characteristics of the HD series and also has additional self-extinguishing properties when eliminating the fire source.
