Insulating laminated pipe
Laminated pipe insulation, double coating (covered with laminated film). Pipe insulation with a closed cell structure is suitable for thermal and sound insulation for pipes of water supply, heating systems, air conditioning.
An additional layer of foil ensures improved properties for retaining heat and cold. Also, at the request of a Customer, it is possible to apply a film to increase the wear-resistant properties.
Another disadvantage of XPE pipe insulation is its instability to ultraviolet light, and therefore it cannot be used outside of buildings, and its usage area is limited only to the insulation of pipes inside the premises. Therefore MONOISOL has mastered the production of pipe insulation in a protective shell that is resistant to ultraviolet light. It is called “Laminated Pipe Insulation”. The laminated surface is available in two colours: red and blue, for easy marking when insulating pipes with cold and hot water.
