Our company has developed a new laminated sheet version with lamination carried out with a single layer of metallized film. As a result, the same thermal insulation coefficient is achieved, but the cost of the product is reduced by 20 % due to the savings on the second layer.

Description of the laminated sheet with a single layer of metallized film
The sheet made of foamed PE is additionally laminated with a heat-reflecting film to increase the thermal insulation properties. The basic principle of applying the laminated film is metallization with aluminium powder, which increases the heat reflecting properties. Usually, a two-layer film is used for these purposes: the first layer is HDPE with a thin layer of aluminium powder applied to it, the second layer is PET, which serves as a protective layer to increase the wear resistance of the insulation upper surface.
It is also possible to laminate the PE foam sheet with a single layer of metallized film developed by our company. This film is made from high-pressure PE with aluminium powder added to the polymer melt mixture.
